One week until school starts!

School starts a week from today. I am excited and I think Trent is too. He found out who his teacher is today and that we got our request to be on the pm schedule.

The weather seems to be cooling down a bit. We have had quite a few days of afternoon/evening showers which has made it super nice to be outside.

Lately the kids' favorite things to do are feed the horses across the street and ride their scooters at the church. Kara LOVES the horses, well she says horses a lot and pulls on my hand to take her over there, but she doesn't like feeding them much, it scares her. I talked to her about the horses and said did you see their big teeth? So now when we go over there she wants me to feed them then she says "TEETH" while pointing to the horse.

Ray has been hiking a bit. This photo was taken on the top of Timp. with Randy and Chris.
That's my super freakin' boring post!

What a view those guys had! I'm wondering what's up with Randy's hat, though. My brothers loved seeing the horses across the road from our house growing up, too.

Hey Teri -
This is Heidi Duncan (Gilmore now) - do you remember me? We have a common friend and she emailed me your blog address - hope you don't mind. I am neighbors with Lori Knight in Reno (we actually lived by them in Eugene, OR too). She said that she was roomates with you up in Provo/Orem. Anyway - your family looks darling - where are you living? I just entered the blogging world myself - thegilmorefam.blogspot.com - take care - I am off to help Lori clean her house - she is moving on me.

Teri,
I'm so glad that you updated. I haven't heard from you forever. How is school going? We start next week. I can't believe how fast summer went.
