Halloween Week

We went to pumpkin land for Kara's preschool field trip.  It was the day that it snowed.  I thought they would cancel it , but they wouldn't let the preschool reschedule so we just bundled up and went.  Kyle had fun, Kara was cold because she wouldn't wear her winter coat or socks.  Silly girl!

Halloween Get together

We got together with Ray's side of the family on Monday, even though Ray was in Vegas at a conference for work.  We had soups, rolls,& veggies.  I tried to be creative and put a carrot finger hand coming out of the dip.  I made swamp juice (lemon aid with green food coloring and spiders floating on top frozen in ice cubes)  Then we all carved pumpkins.  It was fun but a little rough since my kids just had me to pretty much do it all for them.  Trent did carve his all by himself.  I did Kara's and Tyler's (Tyler drew the pattern on though) and Kyle (poor little 4th child) didn't get his carved.  We took some pictures and Trent wasn't done, and wouldn't come outside for the pictures, so I just photo shopped him in.  It was a fun night!

Fall Break

For Fall Break (UEA) the kids didn't have school on Thursday or Friday (Oct. 14th & 15th ) and so we caravaned with Tennille down to Enoch.

While there we had our annual Halloween party.

The kids had fun dressing up,

going on a treasure hunt,

hitting the pinata and

decorating pumpkins.

Tennille was looking for a Halloween costume. My mom has had this wig for YEARS we used to love to wear it. Trent & Brett were the only kids that would try it on. It makes me laugh every time I look at these pictures.



The kids were also excited to see their favorite uncles, Mitch and John.  Should of taken pictures with them.

We all had fun at grandma and grandpa's!

First part of October 2010

The Friday before General Conference we went up the canyon for a  little picnic and hike.

 Even though it was cold the kids wanted to play in the water. 

 Water = Kids get in it and get wet even if it is cold

Mike and Ashlee came to visit and we took some cute pictures with Jensen.  I love that they are all smiling/laughing.

August 2010

I haven't done to great of a job of catching up in a timely fashion. But, we did get an external hard drive so that will help immensely on storing all the pictures that we have taken with our new camera. I really am going to catch up and try to stay on top of things. Besides, who reads this thing anyway?

He also likes to wear Kara's wings.  He will bring them to me to put on. Silly boy!

We went to Lagoon with all my family (minus John and Whit) to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday.  It started out SUPER rainy, but ended up being a really nice day.
